Unless you are pumping breast milk. Today I knocked over a bottle and lost an ounce and a half. I just stood there and wanted to cry. It is so much work to pump enough milk and every little bit counts. It could have been worse because the bottle had 4 ounces, so I did managed to save it. So the lesson today is to be more careful with my precious milk!

Food Aversion… Not Here

The first thing you hear about being pregnant is food aversion and morning sickness. Well I have yet to have either. Which is great and I’m sure not complaining about that. But the opposite of that is FOOD LOVE. Everything sound so good. Everything I eat taste incredible. I feel hungry all the time, I just want to eat. This can’t be good either

A Perfect Beat

Today I heard the most amazing sound… my little baby’s heartbeat. It’s incredible that itty bitty heart can beat like that. To this point being pregnant still felt unreal. But today it finally hit me. There is this little person growing inside me. And I already love him/her more then words can describe.

A New Life

It’s amazing how your life can change from one minute to the next. Last night I enjoyed a fun get together with friends. Today my life and my future are drastically different. It’s a good change. It’s something I’ve wanted for a very long time. But the circumstances are not the way I would have like them to be. I’m excited and I’m scared.

New Year’s Eve 2010

Well another year has passed and I’m a little older. Am I a little wiser??? That is the question. It’s weird how now time actually matters. Ten years ago tonight was party time and nothing else mattered. But now every year that passes I sit and wonder “what have I done?”, “Am I where I wanted to be at this point?” Now time actually matters. Today as the year comes to a close I sit here thinking on what 2010 was and what I want 2011 to be. This past year had it’s good and it’s bad moments, but overall I guess I can’t complain. I do hope that this coming year has a lot more good moments then bad. I know that a lot of it is up to me and there is plenty of work to be done on myself. So tonight I will go celebrate the end of 2010 with friends and welcome a new fantastic year!
